Happy New Year – now clean out your closet

The week between Christmas and New Year’s Day is one of my favorite weeks of the year.  I experience a combined feeling of relief and anticipation.  Relief that the stress and push of Christmas is over and anticipation of a new year, a clean slate, new beginnings, new energy.  I celebrated that time this year with a major clear out: closet, bathroom drawers and under the bathroom sink (whew!), bedside table, jewelry box and bookshelves.  It made me feel like a million bucks.  So I was happy to see this post by Celia Alario about starting the New Year clean.  She lists three ideas to consider: Let go  (clean out your inner closet), say what you need to say, do the next right thing.  Read more here.  By the way, Spirituality and Health is a great website.
